OUR DIRECTOR - Derrick Soanes CA(SA)
Derrick is a qualified Chartered Accountant and is a member of South African Institute of Chartered Accountants and Botswana Institute of Chartered Accountants. He has 27 years’ experience across Africa in various CFO and CEO roles. He has significant experience in listed multinational companies, SME’s and start-ups. Strong exposure both as a CFO and CEO in various sectors including Warehousing, Distribution, Sales, Manufacturing, Retail, Wholesale and Insurance. He has overseen the entire financial function for multinational organisations and has worked as a Financial Director in West, East and Southern Africa (operating out of Botswana, Nigeria and Kenya).
Derrick has worked in Botswana for 18 years as a CFO and CEO. This has enabled him to gain vast experience across various sectors in Botswana. He has had significant exposure to Botswana’s financial, legal and statutory regulatory environments. Derrick has a deep understanding of the risks both financial and non-financial associated with doing business in Botswana.
